Cabin Fever

Rang in my 33rd birthday this year up at the cabin, which is of course is always a great thing. Mike, Rob, Beth, Sarah, Wendy and I all headed up there last Friday through Monday. I'd go through the details like I always do, but it's the typical story. We make WAY too much food. We play a bunch of games (Wii, Apples to Apples, Cribbage). Got to hit the hot tub. A bunch of reading with books or some electronic device. Drinks galore. And a whole heck of a lot of laughs.

The big event for me was taking along Flat Seth, who was mailed to me by my old college buddy Eddie. If you haven't heard about this, check out http://www.flatstanley.com/ for more information. I had never been involved in this, so it was my first adventure in this. We ended up having a good time with him, there's a few photos on my Facebook page if you're interested and I'll post a few below.

Great birthday weekend though, excited to see what 33 brings me. A friend tells me it's a pretty special year, so we'll soon find out!
